The Author
Under the pen name, N. von Wolf, the author delves into the shadows of dark, psychological romance set in worlds where myth bleeds into obsession and love walks a razor’s edge. Her stories explore the intimate territories of power, trauma, and fate – whether in vampire courts, ancient battlegrounds, or dystopian futures.
Rooted in the Balkans and shaped by years in Ireland and Scandinavia, she draws on haunted history, folklore, and cultural echoes to craft emotionally charged tales where the past never sleeps and the heart is never safe.
Her favourite playgrounds are epic fantasy, historical and paranormal fiction – but she loves to dip her toes into sci-fi waters, as well.By night, she writes of forbidden desires and fractured worlds; by day, she thrives as a Technical Engineering Team Lead, a wife, and a mother of two.

She’s been writing in English for as long as she can remember, and finished her first 600-page book at thirteen.
She lived in Croatia, Bosnia, Sweden and Ireland, and hopes to experience other countries and cultures in the future.
Her pen name blends part of her real name with a paranormal nod to “Loch Ness”, while von Wolf comes from her family’s original surname from 200 years ago.

She mostly enjoys classic literature and romantasy. Favourite books are Theodora by Paul I. Wellman and David & Leigh Eddings' Belgariad series.
While studying she worked a lot of odd jobs, like writing reviews for restaurants, modelling, singing, and webdesign.

When writing, she sees herself as the first reader. Since editing is her least favourite part, she uses Suno AI to create music that keeps her in the mood.
Just as she reads at least three books from different genres at a time, she also writes across three genres to keep herself from slipping into a slump.
She only decided to publish after being “bullied” into it by her best friend, who had been reading her work since they were seventeen.

She always conducts extensive research and has her manuscripts screened by one or two medical and psychological specialists.
Every story she writes carries a deeper message, and even in her darkest fiction, she wants something to linger beyond the final page.
